ANCIENT ACCEPTED SCOTTISH RITE

SCHOLARSHIPS

The following scholarships are available through the Scottish Rite Valleys in New Jersey:

The Northern Valley's Puckey Fund - Must be a high school senior seeking post high school aid. The applicant must be a child or grandchild of a Master Mason or have membership in a youth organization affiliated with Freemasonry. The award is normally $1,000. Deadline for Filing is April 1st.

Winston E. Parker/Excelsior Scholarship - $6,000 a year for four years of undergraduate study in the fields of Forestry, Horticulture, or Medicine. The annual competition for this scholarship is restricted to the son or daughter of any Master Mason, living or deceased, who resides within the eight counties in Southern New Jersey; Atlantic, Burlington, Camden, Cape May, Cumberland, Gloucester, Ocean and Salem. Applications are available through your Scottish Rite Office. Deadline for Filing is April 1st.

The Leon M. Abbot Scottish Rite Scholarship – Offered through the Supreme Council Educational Grants Program. Applicants must be either; 1) Children or grandchildren of Scottish Rite Masons, 2) Members of a youth organization sponsored by the Masons, or 3) Graduates of a 32° Masonic Learning Center. Incoming freshmen and current college students that meet these conditions are encouraged to apply. Individual one-time grants average $1,000 and are paid directly to the individual applicant, not to the college. Applications are available through your Scottish Rite Office. Deadline for filing is April 1st.

Culver Foundation of New Jersey Scholarship – These scholarships are eligible to young men and women with Masonic affiliation. Award is based on academic achievement, financial need, character, and service to others. Yearly tuition scholarships, renewable for four years, are paid directly to the college or university that the recipient will attend. Applications are available through your Scottish Rite Office. Deadline for filing is April 1st.
